2014 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 first look

During Samsung’s IFA keynote last week we were not only treated to details of the new Galaxy Note 3, but also the Galaxy Gear and a new tablet from the range as well. Now that you have had time to digest some of the other devices to come out of IFA we thought you would want a first look close up of the 2014 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

Below we have embedded a video for your viewing pleasure and we can tell you that this latest tablet from Samsung is a real powerhouse. This is the biggest entry in the Note 3 family and dwarfs the upcoming Note 3 and 8.

The 2014 Galaxy Note 10.1 specs are sure to complete with the Nexus 10, although it is worth noting that a new version is expected in a month or 2. The 10.1-inch display offers a 2560 x 1600 resolution and the design follows the same philosophies as the Note 3 with the faux leather back.

The specs are much improved over the current model, so you will now get a Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.3GHz processor, which is on par with other 10-inch tablets currently on the market. The improved specs and upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean means you will be able to get the most from the multitasking and S-pen features.

Also in the video you get to see some of the other features for yourself, such as some of the unique TouchWiz features like having two of the very same app open at the same time.

If you are a Note fan then the 2014 version of the 10.1 will please you very much, although if you have the current model you will find it tough to convince yourself to purchase the newer model because it costing so much when compared to the iPad.
