Having already looked at a compact SUV from Volkswagen we thought you might want to see a more stylish model, if you are into these types of vehicles that is. We are talking about the 2014 Range Rover Evoque, which comes with a range of new features, some of which has a purpose to help improve fuel economy.
The new Evoque comes with an impressive nine-speed automatic gearbox option, which for some of you seems a bit of an overkill, but it does come with a few advantages. Land Rover knew changes needed to be made because the Evoque has come under some criticism and needs to get away from the stigma stating the model is more for ladies.
It is clear to see there have not been many design changes to the exterior, there are some but they are very subtle. However, it’s the 2014 Range Rover Evoque interior and the oily bits that have seen the most changes.
However, the biggest change is to the 2014 Range Rover Evoque mpg figures because they are much improved throughout the model range. The biggest factor is that 9-speed transmission because the ratios are taller and are adaptive to how you drive.
According to Auto Express the new Range Rover Evoque fuel economy has risen by at least 10 percent, with the best figures coming from the manual, two-wheel drive eD4 diesel engine offering 57.6mpg.
Have these changes gone far enough to convince you to purchase the new version of the Range Rover Evoque?
