2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S specs up close

For many people, when Jaguar released the E-Type they broke the mold. The company has had a range of new models since, but has yet to re-create the magic. However, the all-new 2014 F-Type is the nearest thing to the classic sports car, which we have to say has been a long time coming.

With three variants for the current body style, we thought we would look over the 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S specs, as a new video review gets up close and personal. We already know by public reaction that people fall in love with the F-Type when they see it riding down the streets.

The main reason for this is because of its beautiful design flares, with the video pointing out Jaguar has given the grille a sort of E-Type look. Okay, it is notice overly noticeable, but you can see it there when you look hard enough. However, the reviewer in the video believes there are parts taken from several sports cars, such as the Honda S200 and the Porsche 911.

We do find it interesting one of the reasons there will never be a car like the E-Type again, which you will need to keep watching the video for. It is then that we get into the juicy stuff, and that is all the trickery that makes this vehicle so special, such as that engine, the technology involved to make the F-Type handle the way it does.

However, this all starts with a look at the interior, which is the part that connects car and driver. Many of the controls have been simplified, something we cannot say in many other cars on the road today. It is not all positive though because there is no manual transmission option, which as we have seen is a popular choice with the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

If you feel as though this is not the model for you, then we would suggest waiting for the Jaguar F-Type Coupe, although this will not be on the market until 2014. Jaguar seems to be onto a winner here because F-Type sales have been rather impressive, let us hope this keeps up?
