2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible video reviews tantalize

Before the 2013 Geneva Motor Show we already knew several details in regards to the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible from Chevrolet, but some key information was still missing. However, all that changed on Monday when we finally got to see what all the fuss was about.

There was already several images available but wasn’t until several video reviews appeared on YouTube of the droptop C7 that we saw just how tantalizing this new model actually was. While it is great to see this new model with the roof down, it would have been nice to see it up, just to see how much it spoils the overall design — as we know it will do because it is a soft top.

In the video above it’s like a big showcase event, as we get to see both the convertible and standard 2014 Corvette Stingray models unveiled at Geneva. We are told that the technology in this car can compete with any other car brand in the world, which we find a little hard to believe.

The second video is a little more informative because we get to walk around the new Stingray Convertible, and it is in this video that we get to see the roof up, and because it is powered we can also see it being lowered as well. When the roof is down it’s an amazing looking car, but when the soft top is up it just looks like a very average car.

Finally in this review from Top Speed we not only get a look at the exterior and interior but also performance specs and that all-important price. The 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible will go on sale in the first quarter of next year.
