Naughty Dog stay secretive on 2014 PS4 games

By Matt Tran - Dec 31, 2013

Game developer Naughty Dog is expected to have a busy year in 2014, creating the new Unchartered title on PS4 alongside an unannounced project. When asked about their upcoming plans the studio stayed secretive on the matter, leaving room for fresh speculation.

It has been reported that the secret game in development is a PlayStation 4 version of ‘The Last Of Us’, a post apocalyptic action title. A spokesperson for Naughty Dog said “we’ll see” when asked about the possibility of a next generation launch for the game. The developers went on to say that they are looking to get their PS4 engine up and running and will see what the futute brings.

There had been other speculation recently that Sony and Naughty Dog had re-acquired the rights to popular classic Crash Bandicoot and a PS4 release could be on the cards in the future. Whilst several clues have hinted at the return of Crash, it is by no means a certainty.

What games would you like to see Naughty Dog release on PS4 in 2014? Would you like to see the return of Crash Bandicoot or is a PS4 version of The Last Of Us something you would like to see; perhaps you want something completely different? Let us know in the comments section.

Crash Bandicoot back in the family with a new game to celebrate would be awesome! XD A New Jak and Daxter game would be frickin’ sweet too! XD Uncharted 4 i already know will be awesome! XD On The Last Of Us PS4 version, I’d have to say no, because it’s a PS3 exclusive. I’d be okay with a The Last Of Us 2 on PS4, though. =) And I had an idea for Naughty Dog to make Savage Starlight into a game! XD That would be frickin’ sweet! XD

I would love either a new Jak game following after Jak 3 or a new Crash Bandicoot game for ps3 or ps4.
