Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls DLC gets release date & price

By Matt Tran - Dec 20, 2013

Players of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will be pleased to hear that DLC details have dropped, revealing a release date and price. Blizzard has announced that the content will be available on the 25th March 2014 for Mac and PC.

You can pre-order the Diablo 3 expansion now, in either standard of deluxe edition. The regular pack will cost you $39.99, but if you want to download the more premium content it will set you back $59.99. The deluxe edition of the game grants players three additional character slots, an exclusive helm, weapon-transmogrification recipes and the Spectral Hound minion.

If that is not enough then you will glad to know that you also get an in-game Treasure Goblin companion pet for World of Warcraft, Malthael-themed decals for StarCraft 2 and Crusader-themed Battle.net portraits. This gives you an idea of how beneficial buying the deluxe edition can be over the standard edition if you are willing to splash out more.

You can order your version of the DLC right now from the Battle.net shop where you will also find more details on the new content launching next year.

Will you be downloading the expansion and if so are you satisfied with what Blizzard is adding to Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls? Let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment.
