COD Ghosts DLC map pack preview with Season Pass

By Alan Ng - Dec 20, 2013

Heads-up all Call of Duty players now, as Activision has finally sent out some official COD Ghosts DLC map pack details. This comes in the form of a Season Pass preview, confirming that there will be four map packs released for the game in 2014 as part of your subscription.

We knew that the names of the COD Ghosts map packs would be titled Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion and Nemesis. Activision accidentally revealed this information very early after release, but now they are ready to go public.

The season pass will be the usual price of $50, which Activision states is a $10 saving overall from buying each pack individually. Onslaught is on the way first and now Activision has dropped a preview trailer showing some of the content that is on the way early next year.

Aside from the new maps, the Season Pass is also going to include some extras. This is called the Team Leader Digital Pack and consists of smaller items such as a MP character head, weapon camo, reticle, player patch, player card and player background.

Finally, you’ll also get the Free Fall DLC map if you didn’t already get this from pre-ordering the game prior to release. That’s a lot of content that you are getting for $50, but is it better value than Battlefield 4 premium in your opinion?

Activision has detailed everything on the COD website here. Let us know if you plan to buy a Season Pass for COD Ghosts, or Battlefield 4 Premium instead.
