Battlefield 4 PC update is a game changer

By Alan Ng - Dec 17, 2013

We have some good news for PC players of Battlefield 4, as it looks like a new BF4 PC update is available to download. Even better news, is that DICE appears to have fixed many existing bugs in the game, one of which is a fix for kill trading and the sound loop problems.

If you are a regular player of the PC version, you’ll know that there was one inexcusable problem with the game, which resulted in apparent one hit kills when two players would fire at each other – a bug that has since become known as ‘kill trading’.

DICE says that they have fixed this, but have also issued a fix in relation to the sound loop problem as well. According to the patch notes, here is what the developer has mentioned:

“Fix for a crash that would cause the game to stall, resulting in a sound loop. This should eliminate most of the problems relating to this”

It goes without saying that those are two major fixes for the PC version, which should now make your gameplay experience a lot more pleasurable.

As always, read the full patch notes here via Battlelog and let us know if you are still having problems or if DICE has missed something out.

Don’t see much difference. Still random drops of the server. Hardly ever got the sound loop, wish they would fix real issues like disconnects, one shoot kills c before fixing sound glitches. Incompetent programmers at ea. With this update it may take the game out of beta finally.
