Assassin’s Creed 4 DLC download live today

By Peter Chubb - Dec 17, 2013

Today is the release of the first DLC for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, which is called Freedom Cry. This new downloadable content adds a new story to the game, and as always has a real-life history element to it.

In the first AC4 DLC you play the part of Adewale, Kenway’s first mate, whose aim is to free the slaves and in the process build his own army made up of rebels.

To give you an idea of what to expect from the new DLC we have a trailer for you below. In the clip you get to see this story unfold first-hand, in which we hope helps to whet your appetite for more.

Like we said earlier, the Assassin’s Creed 4 DLC download is live today for PC, PSN and Xbox Live in the US and UK, apart from PSN, which won’t go live until tomorrow in the UK.

We must admit, watching the trailer was like watching a trailer for a blockbuster movie, let’s just hope it plays as well as it looks?

The price for this DLC is free if you have the $20 season pass.
