Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 spec rumors begin for 2014

By Alan Ng - Dec 16, 2013

While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 was one of the most popular tablet choices during the 2013 Holiday season, we’re pleased to hear that rumors have already begun on Samsung’s next effort with the Galaxy Tab 4 that is likely to have a 2014 release date.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 may be one of the surprise announcements at CES 2014 in January, and consumers are now starting to get excited on what kind of Galaxy Tab 4 specs we can expect to see. One of the biggest requests is display screen enhancements, as Samsung really needs to improve in this area we feel.

One rumor as noted by this website references an unknown model as the Samsung SM-T331, which could turn out to be the Galaxy Tab 4. The Galaxy Tab 3 WiFi was identified with the SM-T210 model number, so it could have some strength behind it.

We also know that the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch only had a display which featured a 1024×600 resolution. If Samsung are planning to unleash the Galaxy Tab 4 soon, then we could be looking at a Super AMOLED display which will finally offer a full 1080p HD resolution to consumers.

We would also expect this device to have a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM at the very least, while Android 4.4 Kitkat would be almost a certainty as well you would feel.

It’s early days yet, but are you ready to buy the Galaxy Tab 4 in 2014? If so, tell us what specs you want to see to make that decision a lot easier.
