Need for Speed: Rivals with free 2015 Ford Mustang

A good way to market a new car is by allowing a game developer to show it off in a new game release, which is just what has happened with a new Need for Speed: Rivals DLC. In the new content gamers will get behind the wheel of the 2015 Ford Mustang, and we have to say it does look rather nice in next-gen form.

Ford had to work closely with the development team over at EA to give them enough engineering details so they could implement it onto the PS4 and Xbox One, and as such took several months to do so.

Several computer design models were made and took EA and Ford some time to come up with something that both parties were happy with. With the new 2015 Ford Mustang being a free update, which is available now, we would ask that you give it a go and let us know just what you think.

Even though you already have the Mustang “hero car”, which is a customized version taken from the upcoming Need for Speed movie, as well as a Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang when you are playing as a police officer, these are no substitutions for the all-new model.

Drivers will not be able to get their hands on the 2015 Ford Mustang until later in 2014, and so the only way to experience it for now is by playing Need for Speed: Rivals, which we have to say is a great piece of marketing by EA and Ford.
