LEGO The Hobbit video game trailer 1

By Peter Chubb - Dec 16, 2013

It was only last month when we knew for certain that LEGO The Hobbit video game was coming to several platforms because of what was seen on toy boxes. As a final nod of an official announcement we are happy to say that the first trailer for the game has now been released.

LEGO The Hobbit gives you the chance to see your favorite characters once again, such as Bilbo, Gandalf and the others. There is not much to say about this game because we know pretty much what to expect, but that’s not saying it will not be fun.

It would have been nice for this trailer to be revealed at the screening of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, as this would have been a great piece of marketing.

As for the game itself, the LEGO The Hobbit gameplay will see you follow Bilbo Baggins being recruited by Gandalf to leave the comfort of the Shire and help the Company of Dwarves.

The release date for LEGO The Hobbit video game is Spring 2014, and so will be long before the final Hobbit movie is released, and could spoil the movie for some of you who have yet to read the book, although the movies are a little different.
