Red Dead Redemption 2 vs. GTA V PS4, Xbox One preference

By Peter Chubb - Dec 12, 2013

There has been a lot of talk about GTA V coming to the PS4 and the Xbox One, and while Rockstar has not given us a date as to when it will be made available on next-gen consoles, we would assume to see in in Q1 or Q2 of 2014.

However, with some gamers already saying how bored they have become with Gran Theft Auto 5, we believe that some of you would rather Rockstar work on Red Dead Redemption 2, or whatever they would call the sequel?

We already know that a rumor was recently leaked suggesting a Read Dead Redemption sequel, which could be released as early as summer 2014, but we feel as though that might be pushing it a bit, especially when RockStar has yet to announce it and when they do it could be a year from then, much like it was for GTA V.

Having said that, RDR 2 will be a PS4 and Xbox One release and so Rockstar might have been working on it for a while already and if you thought the first game was jaw dropping in terms of story and scenery, then just imagine what is possible with the next generation version?

Read Dead Redemption was a vast improvement over GTA 4 in terms of graphics and flimsy shooting, and seeing as though GTA 5 has stepped it up another notch, just think what will be possible with RDR 2?

If you had the choice, which of the two would you rather, Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA V on the PS4 and Xbox One?

I really need more Red Dead in my life… I can’t wait to get back out in the open on horseback and live through a story as epic as RDR. I have no idea if they can even repeat that feat, everything from the soundtrack to the subtle map design to the story writing was top notch– almost lightning in a bottle.

Wouldn’t it be Red Dead 3?

Red Dead Redemption 2. Hence “Redemption”.

We don’t include Revolver these days 😉 We want more Redemption, and that’s all that matters

    • Andrew

No because they put redemption at the end of red dead.

as much as i love my pc, it was a top spec gaming rig, all be it its 3 years old or more now. but the more i use it, the more i can tell game developers cripple the performance of pcs compared to consoles for any given hardware. got ps4, just wish they would release GTA V on it. the console it shud of been on!! its great on ps3 but….it would really come alive on ps4

  • Anything on PC would be insane anything on a console wouldn’t. Sorry.

    • Wtf are you talking about

Pc are about as good as the crap that comes out my rear end

      • What happens when big corporations favor consoles you’re limited to what you see on them while PC there is no limitations on what you can do or see. Be brainwashed into thinking consoles seems like everyone is brainwashed either that or they can’t afford decent components or lazy or stupid to know how to build a PC.

people that have irl friends don’t play exclusively on the pc

        • More or less. You need to go outside for friends IRL

GTA V looks good enough as it is. RDR2 on “next get” would be insane!

  • Ant

RDR 2! would be amazing on next gen!
