Battlefield 4 PS4, PS3 update fixes one hit kill

We have a heads-up for all Battlefield 4 players now, as it looks like DICE has kept to their word and are intent on improving the game asap. We told you earlier this week that DICE has admitted that there are ongoing problems in the game.

Now though, a new game update is available for Battlefield 4 players on PS4 and PS3. As far as we’re aware, this update is for console players on PlayStation only – ie, no new update information for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC versions as of yet.

This update aims to prevent one issue in the game that had been causing many problems for some of you, relating to one-hit kills that could sometimes happen during dogfights.

According to DICE, this is the Battlefield 4 update notes on PS4 as of December 5:

“Fixed the “one-hit kill” bug where damage from a single bullet sometimes was applied multiple times. This could lead to firefights where normal rifles sometimes dealt one-shot kills, which is not as designed.
-Fixed a crash that could occur when having a very large amounts of Friends
-Enabled audio in PS4 video captures

It’s also important to note that DICE sees this as a small update. The developer has also said that the next update on PS4 will be bigger and will be more based around improving game stability – so there we go.

How is your game experience on PS4 and PS3 at the moment? Is everything better after installing this update or not?
