LG SP60NB50 8x External Double-Layer DVD Drive

Believe it or not there are still people out there who burn music and movies to disc. It is still far more popular than you would think and comes in handy when you have laptop that does not have an optical drive.

Being able to quickly burn content to disc could not be easier with the LG SP60NB50, which is an 8x External Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive. The speed of this device allows you to write at a decent speed, ideal if you are in a hurry.

The LG SP60NB50 has a slim design and is a great alternative to Apple’s SuperDrive, which means it is perfect if you have a MacBook Air. The positive thing about that is its price, as the LG SP60NB50 8x External Double-Layer DVD Drive is more than half the price of Apple’s equivalent.

Reviews for this device have been rather positive from users, with many of them commenting on its portability and being able to play DVDs and install software, as well as the added advantage of writing to disc.

However, there are negatives as well because other users have complained that the device often turns off while paused and the lead is too short and so you get what you pay for.
