HP Envy 15-j011dx laptop specs and price watch

If you are still on the hunt for a brand new laptop to buy during the busy Cyber Monday sales, you may want to take a look at what HP are putting on the table. Their HP Envy 15-j011dx features some very promising hardware specs out of the box, but also at a price that is suitable for your wallet.

Usually we would see laptops on sale with 4GB of RAM, which is already enough for the average user. However, this HP Envy is a bit of a beast, with 8GB of RAM available combined with a speedy Intel Core i5 processor that offers 2.6Ghz in speed.

It gets better further when you find out that the 8GB of RAM can be upgraded to 16GB should you really require it. A 750GB hard drive will also give you all of the storage you require, although we’re a bit disappointed to see that this ships with Intel Integrated graphics only – not a dedicated graphics card from NVIDIA or AMD.

Still though, this is a solid laptop and it’s even more tempting when we tell you that Best Buy are featuring it over at their Cyber Monday specials. The price right now for this laptop is $500, but on Amazon’s website, you’ll find the same laptop for $589, which they already say is a saving from their original price of $800.

You’ll do well to find a similar laptop with a 750GB drive, a Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM elsewhere. Let us know below if you are considering this laptop, or if you have any other alternatives to tell us about.
