Nokia Lumia 2520 review shows Windows 8.1 RT beauty

By Alan Ng - Dec 2, 2013

If you are looking for the best Cyber Monday tablets but also want one that runs on Windows 8.1, you should definitely consider the Nokia Lumia 2520 – Nokia’s newest tablet that comes with some very pleasing hardware specs and strong performance.

With the Lumia 2510 running Windows 8.1 RT, we naturally told you how the device compared to Microsoft’s own tablet device, the Surface Pro 2. At the time we had a feeling that Nokia could go on to outshine Microsoft’s tablet and it appears that consumers are starting to warm towards Nokia’s entry into the tablet game.

Just to refresh, the Lumia 2520 specs include a whopping 2.2Ghz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, a Adreno 330 GPU for gaming, a 6.7MP rear camera for high-quality photo opportunities and a full 1080p HD display screen that measures 10.1 inches.

It really is a beast in the hardware department and it could go to be one of the most popular tablets to buy in 2014. If you were not familiar or keen on Windows RT OS in the past, you may want to give that another chance with the Nokia Lumia 2520.

To give you a more in-depth look at the Nokia Lumia 2520 up close and personal, we have included a video review for you to watch, which is just over 10 minutes in length. After watching, you should have a pretty good idea on if this tablet is right for you.

So far we haven’t spotted any Cyber Monday movement for the Lumia 2520, but we are keeping our eyes open. Do you think this could be the best looking tablet on the market right now?

What a lovely looking piece of kit. Had Nokia phones and they are so well built so if this is anything like that it should be a great tablet. Nokia really do support their products by adding there own apps and functionality. The specs look awesome. May well be off to John Lewis in a min to get one! 🙂
