Double Power 7-inch tablet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

By Peter Chubb - Nov 21, 2014

We will forgive you for not knowing who Double Power is, only because this is the first time we have heard of them as well. You may wonder why we would wish to talk about such an obscure company, well it seems as though they have a tablet on the market and has seen a recent price drop for obvious reasons.

The Double Power 7-inch tablet comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean installed, and while this is not the latest version of Jelly Bean, you can bet your life this is because its specs are not high enough to handle the newer version?

Speaking of the Double Power 7″ Dual Core Tablet specs, you get that 1.5Ghz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5GB of free Cloud storage, 1080P video playback, front and rear camera and Mini USB.

The features on this budget tablet are not as bad as we first thought, and so expect it could do very well over the next week or so. The price of the Double Power 7-inch Android tablet is about $60, which isn’t that bad when you consider its specs.

Okay, so we know its performance is not going to be lightning quick, and its display is not on par with the Nexus 7, but it is almost a quarter of the price.

I said latest version of Jelly Bean, which is 4.3. You are talking about 4.4 KitKat.

What are you talking about? the newest version of android requires lower specs than jelly bean! They are trying to reduce fragmentation.
