The new Nexus 7 was released in the summer and was enjoying some rather impressive sales seeing as though the iPad mini 2 had yet to be released for a few more months. The former device had all the makings to beat the latter in terms of specs and price, but now they are battling it out for sales in the build-up to Christmas, some of you who have yet to purchase one of these models would like to know how they compare.
Apple’s iPad mini Retina is the name of the 2nd-generation model and had its release date just last month, and constrained production has had an effect on sales, although as yet Google and Apple have yet to release any sales figures.

Some of you believe that it is silly to test these as the price of each shows that they cater for different budgets. The second video is another take on the performance comparison between the two tablets, and the previous mini as well. The reviewer has used geekbench 3 and gfxbench to run the tests.
