The reviews for Ryse on Xbox One are finally out and if you were expecting to see stellar scores, it looks like you are in for a big disappointment. With the delay for the reviews having been released at the very last minute before the console launches, some may even perceive Ryse’s low review scores to be doubts confirmed.

We told you about the anxious wait for Ryse reviews in a previous article here – most of you had told us that you will be buying Ryse regardless of any poor reviews that come out.

Well now it has been confirmed. A 6.8/10 by IGN, 5/10 from Eurogamer, 2.5/5 from Joystiq and a 6/10 from Polygon tell you all you need to know about the game.

We’ve noticed that many of the scores about all talk about the gaming being boring and repetitive. Most also mention that the game looks beautiful from a graphics point of view – which is what we have all been seeing in the trailers.

So it looks like on this occasion, Ryse is a game that has a graphics over gameplay emphasis – according to the critics anyway. Will you be buying it or not? Give us your reaction below.

god of war , had the same fighting engine, the same movement, it was so repetitive but heaps fun, i believe this is the same now , sure it may repeat it self but once a gamer starts playing it won’t matter, just like GOW.
