If you consider yourself to be a hardcore Call of Duty Ghosts player, you are probably loving multiplayer mode and playing around with the game’s various customization options to your heart’s content. One of the most sought after items is the COD Ghosts mask item, but some of you have been panicking after realizing that the Ghosts mask is only available to those who pre-ordered the game.
Perhaps even more surprising though, is that we have found out that the COD Ghosts mask codes are only for use with male COD Ghosts characters, meaning that females who play the game and have chosen a female character online cannot use the Ghosts mask.
As you can imagine, this has created some heated debates both from those who agree with the fact that it should be male only, and those who are pointing the finger at Infinity Ward and asking questions on why a female version of the COD Ghosts mask hasn’t been made.
Infinity Ward has admitted that the COD Ghosts mask is for males only, but said that they would try and offer up further customization options for female players in a future update.
It must be frustrating for female players to have picked up the game from GameStop specifically for the Ghost mask, only to later find out that they can no longer use an in-game item that they paid for – due to a ‘technicality’.
On top of that, some players are very frustrated after realizing that the COD Ghosts mask codes were located on their GameStop receipts, receipts that they have accidentally thrown away.
