Assassin’s Creed 4 720p or 900p on Xbox One

A couple of weeks ago a huge debate was sparked off once we learned that Call of Duty Ghosts was 1080p on the PS4, but not on the Xbox One. This led to several gamers canceling their COD Ghosts pre-orders for the Xbone. You might wonder why we would feel the need to drag this story through the mud again; well it seems as though Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is going to come with the same issue as well.

If this is true, then this is not an isolated issue and we have to wonder what other Xbox One games will lack 1080p support? Having said that, we pretty much knew this because Destiny might also suffer from the same issue as well.

This could certainly be a huge issue for Microsoft and shows that they, along with some developers have been very lazy. For those of you who have been sitting on the fence as to what console to go for, then this could be the deciding factor and push you more towards the PlayStation 4 instead.

It’s worth noting that this is mere speculation for now, as this was based on a tweet because a journalist said that Assassin’s Creed 4 looked “fuzzier” and “strained”, on the Xbox One when compared to the PS4 version. There have already been rumors to support this claim, and so it is looking highly likely that AC4 will not be 1080p on the Xbox One.

If it is not 1080p, then what, as it could either be 720p or 900p? We do believe that the latter is highly likely.
