Assassin’s Creed 4 companion app for iPad exposes bugs

We knew long before its release date that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was to get a companion app, and for us it works best on an iPad or Android tablet. The reason for this is because you need the use of a larger screen to take full advantage of the AC4 app features.

The app was made available for download late yesterday, which could not come soon enough because people already had the game installed and wanted to use the app in conjunction with the game. At least they only had to wait a few hours, unlike GTA V fans with an Android device.

All is not well though because some of the Assassin’s Creed 4 companion app reviews exposes a few bugs, as some users are being taken back to the home screen, while other users are having issues with logging in, which means it is unable to update your game content. However, the biggest issue is for Wii Users, as this app is said to be pointless to them.

It’s not all bad news though, because there are some of you who love the app and feel it is one of the best companion apps out there. This is a huge claim, but the Assassin’s Creed 4 features seems to back this up.

Once you have logged in to Uplay you will then have access to Interactive World Map, Kenway’s Fleet, Progress Tracker, Treasure Maps, Initiates Feed and Animus Database.

In other Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag related news, we can tell you that the Xbox One will not be getting the PS4 DLC – well not for 6 months at least.
