We told you that PS4 gameplay for Call of Duty was coming soon and now we have what most of you have been waiting to see. Call of Duty Ghosts on PS4 has now been confirmed to be running at 1080p and now you can see how this translates to the big screen.
The big rumor of course, is that Call of Duty Ghosts on Xbox One is only thought to be running at 720p, with Microsoft remaining very silent on the matter. It’s a good time to be a future PS4 owner though, as Infinity Ward had no problems showing off the PS4 version during a recent preview with IGN.
The site has managed to provide a collection of new Ghosts material, showing off brand new Ghosts gameplay on PS4 that previously hadn’t been seen. Better yet, all the videos that you can view at this link are all confirmed to be running at 1080p resolution, as stated by IGN’s editor in a Tweet below.

How is the game looking for you at the highest resolution? If it really is confirmed that the Xbox One can only output at 720p, then would you deem this as a major victory for Sony, or is resolution really not that important to you?
Either way, the game looks great and we have a feeling that more PS4 users are going to be even more excited than they previously were after finding out that this is all 1080p footage. We’ve added two videos below for you to enjoy, but the full set can be found over at IGN – there’s also another video which will be unlocked later this Friday, so stay tuned for that.
Do you find it a little odd that Infinity Ward are now advertising the PS4 version of the game, despite the fact that Microsoft has a long standing relationship with the developer? Give us your thoughts on the quality of graphics seen in the new clips below.
