Zelda 3DS treasure chest could be UK exclusive

We have some great news for those of you who are planning to order the upcoming Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game for the 3DS in the UK. Nintendo has just revealed that a special gift will be in store for those that exclusively reserve their copy of the title with retailers GAME.

This gift is very unique as well and should be appreciated by fans, especially those who have loved collecting various Zelda items down the years. The gift is none other than a miniature replica of the Zelda treasure chest.

When opened, it will play the iconic jingle that you would usually hear when opening a chest in the game – you know the one, “ta da da daaaaaa”. It’s the sound we have loved hearing since the SNES A Link to The Past days and now you can own a piece of history by getting your hands on this item which could be exclusive to UK GAME orders.

Even better, it has been endorsed by series producer Eiji Aonuma and Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata. You can see evidence of this in the included Vine message below – remember to unmute the video to hear the special sound.

So far, we have noticed that GAME hasn’t made a statement about this or mentioned the deal on their 3DS page listing here. The game is available to order for £34.99, but if Nintendo states that it includes the music box then that is obviously a very safe guarantee for now.

Let’s hope that this interesting pre-order offer comes to the US as well, as we’re sure that everyone would like to get their hands on one of these. Give us your thoughts on the box and if you are now trying to change your pre-order to get one.
