We know that Killzone Shadow Fall is going to run at 1080p and 60FPS in the multiplayer portion of the game, but now it’s time to inform you about another game that has already been confirmed to be featuring the ‘magical’ benchmark of 1080p and 60FPS.
It is a game that some of you may know already – Flower. The beautiful game from the PS3 era is being upgraded and reworked to support the PS4 and we can confirm thanks some recent information from Twitter, that the game will be supporting both 1080p and 60FPS.
The game is being handled once again by ThatGameCompany, whilst being supported by Sony’s Santa Monica studio at the same time. A PS Vita port is also thought to be in the pipeline, but it is the PS4 version that is attracting all of the headlines this week.
At the moment, we’re unsure as to whether Flower is going to be a downloadable launch title for the PS4 on November 15, but we expect official details to come very soon. For now, take a moment to enjoy the fantastic details as shared by a member of Sony’s Santa Monica team below.
Playing Flower on PS4 today. The return of 60 fps games for this generation is making me ecstatically happy. A pretty magical experience.

Ask anyone who has played Flower on PS3 and they’ll tell you that it is arguably one of the most beautiful and peaceful video games ever created. Now imagine that same experience, but reworked to support a solid 1080p native resolution and at a stunning 60FPS.
It could be one of the PS4’s surprise shining lights, but it really needs to get noticed as a launch title we feel to get maximum exposure. As we await the official release date, give us your experiences of Flower on the PS3.
Do you have any positive comments to make on the game?
