Since the new Sony Xperia Z1 was officially launched at an event yesterday we are bound to start seeing some reviews and comparison videos pop up over the coming weeks, but for a quick look at this new device we have Sony’s promotional launch video showcasing this new device.
We have embedded the launch video at the bottom of the page, and although it is only short of the two minute mark it does show off the Sony Xperia Z1 in the best light. Throughout the video we get to hear about the award winning G Lens from Sony, which is said to have the very same imaging technologies found in their compact digital cameras.
Regarded as a revolutionary super-slim smartphone the Xperia Z1 video spends the first 40 seconds highlighting the features of the camera aspect, as this waterproof device which comes in a solid aluminium shell captures photos underwater.
The 5″ Full HD screen is designed with the latest Sony BRAVIA technology, and this looks great for viewing those images taken with the camera. During the video we also get to see the option to turn on Social live and broadcast live through Facebook, as this feature allows the user to choose the friends they want to share with and get their feedback and comments instantly on the screen, right there and then.
In a recent post we discussed the proposed specs and some Xperia Z1 eye candy before its release, and the previously leaked images seem to be legitimate now. We also questioned what this device would be called regarding it then as the Sony Xperia Z1 Honami smartphone, although it seems that the name Honami has been dropped.
From what we can see the Xperia Z1 has a very impressive camera and the phone itself looks like a premium device, which is thin and attractive. Therefore, we would love to know what you think about the new Sony Xperia Z1.
Will you be contemplating the Xperia Z1 as your next smartphone upgrade? From what we can see this does look like another impressive addition to the competitive world of smartphones.
