Canon 70D video quality test with Sigma lens

Having seen several videos of the pre-production Canon 70D it is finally nice to see the full retail version get the review treatment. However, what we wanted to look at today was not a full-on Canon 70D review, but rather a closer look at the Sigma lens that can be used with the latest DSLR.

Canon 70D video quality test – We have already seen some samples of how well this DLSR performs, but we thought you might be interested to see a quality test with the Canon 70D making use of a Sigma lens.

The test video that you can see below has been shot with the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 lens, because it is a proven lens, it is also a smooth, sharp and a crisp lens and because the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 has already been used and tested it will help to show up any flaws with the 70D.

Will the Canon 70D and the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 lens be a match made in heaven for video shooters, the only way to find out is by watching the video test below?

If that is not enough then we recently looked at a preview video of the Canon 70D Dual Pixel AF and why you should purchase the 70D over the Canon 7D.

The Canon 70D release date is still a few weeks away, and so we still wait in anticipation for that first in-depth Canon 70D video review.
