In just a few hours the LG G2 has been compared to many of the new smartphones, such as the Moto X, HTC One and the Galaxy S4. However, we thought the new flagship device from LG should be compared to the Nexus 4 as well. You may think this is silly considering the handset is around 9 months, but when you consider the Nexus 4 was based on the G2 predecessor it makes sense to compare the two.
Once you look over the specs it doesn’t take to long to realize the LG G2 is a powerhouse and comes with top of the range hardware that even the HTC One and the S4 would love to have. However, LG’s most popular handset is the Nexus 4 and no doubt sales will now suffer because potential buyers want something new, and they also understand that the LG G2 could transform into the Nexus 5.
The video below helps to better explain the difference between these two handsets, with the biggest difference being the screen, with the G2 sporting a 5.2-inch Full HD display and the Nexus 4 offering a 4.7-inch screen.
Lg’s newest handset has the very powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 while the Nexus 4 makes use of a Snapdragon S4 Pro, which is like David vs. Goliath. However, both handsets come with 2GB of RAM, which does surprise us.
The G2 packs a 13-megapixel shooter compared to the 8-megapixel sensor of the Nexus 4. These are some of the LG G2 vs. Nexus 4 specs explained in a nutshell, but for more detailed information watch the video below.
