Skyrim Legendary Edition going for cheap online

If you haven’t picked up a copy of Skyrim yet, we again have more reasons why this week may be the perfect time to do so. The Legendary Edition of Skyrim is already pretty good value at $60, but now you can pick up the definitive version of the game from Amazon with a very generous $20 discount on top.

Just to remind you, this is the game that won several game of the year awards and is the best version since it ships with the latest patch to the game, along with the three official DLC expansion packs. These are Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn, with the first and last offering a substantial amount of new content for players to explore and enjoy.

Skyrim is definitely a game you don’t want to miss out on if you haven’t had the chance to experience it, so you should pay attention to Amazon’s latest sales. The online retailer is currently offering all three versions of the game on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC – for $39.99 only.

That is $20 off the usual price and is remarkable value considering that Bethesda were initially asking for $20 a pop for the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC content alone. Although we can’t see an ending date, we can safely say that this price will not be available forever. In fact Amazon are referencing an 17 hour countdown from now, for those that want a confirmed delivery for Wednesday July 31.

If Skyrim doesn’t take your fancy, you can also find Bethesda’s other game Dishonored on sale with a discounted price as well. Let us know if this is the kind of Skyrim deal that you have been waiting for and knew would happen eventually.
