Black Ops 2 Buried zombies release time with Vengeance DLC

While PS3 owners have only just got around to playing Mob of the Dead zombies on Black Ops 2, it’s once again time for Xbox 360 players to prepare for the US and UK release time of Buried zombies, as part of the new Vengeance DLC map pack that is just hours away from a release. We now have some estimations to share with you, giving you an indication on when the download should become live on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Buried zombies could be set to be the most exciting zombie map ever, with Treyarch confirming in a gameplay trailer that we will have a female ghost boss for the very first time in the series. That is combined with another male boss and rumor has it that the two may be related to one another, or even could be mother and son. We also told you about exciting rumors about a possible scavenger-based perk.

As usual Xbox 360 players will have the pleasure of playing the new map before PS3 and PC, as part of Microsoft’s ongoing DLC exclusivity agreement with Activision. Thankfully, Microsoft has been keeping up with a release pattern on their weekly store updates, so we could know the estimated time of the Vengeance map pack releasing.

If they again stick to schedule, we should see Buried zombies available at 2am Pacific Time. That means an early wake up at 5am for those of you on Eastern Time, and 10am for those you planning to skip work or school in the UK. Treyarch never officially confirms a set release time in order to avoid disappointing fans, but it is usually around this time when we’ll see the content go live.

The big question though – are you willing to stay up to play it the moment it is out, or will you be first getting some sleep and then hammering it all afternoon and evening on Tuesday? Don’t forget to check out some early footage of the Ray Gun Mark II while you are waiting.

To help other readers, let us know if you have seen the download live on the store in your current area or not.
