iPhone 6 conception shows implausible Mac features

By Peter Chubb - May 20, 2013

We’ve seen many concepts for iOS 7 as well as the next-gen iPhone, with some of them being pretty close to what we expect, to others being far-fetched. This is just what we think of this latest iPhone 6 conception, as its Mac features seem implausible.

In the past we have seen an iPhone projector, where it would project an image of a keyboard onto a flat service and allow you to type away. However, this latest iPhone 6 concept takes things a step further by adding a second projector, and this time it projects an image forward of a Mac desktop.

When watching the video you assume that what you are looking at is a iPhone 5, but then it undergoes a transformation to show off these two Mac features. Okay, so it’s fun to see this rendered video, but the probability is zero. We have to wonder what is the point of these concepts, especially when they are never going to happen – well not in the next five years anyway?

As for the next iPhone, Apple needs to go back to the drawing board and completely redesign it, as they need to prove to the industry they still have what it takes. However, we highly doubt this will happen because of their two-year cycle between design changes.

Apple will more than likely bury their head in the sand and believe that people are still happy with such a small screen, when clearly they are not – trust me, I’m sick of mine and often feel embarrassed taking it out when standing next to someone with a HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S3 or 4 and let’s not talk about the Note 2.

Okay, so I could just go and get an Android handset, but having put a lot of money into my iOS apps, it’s a decision that I cannot take lightly.

It will probably have a 4.3″ 1220×686 326ppi display. The 2014 one. The 2013 one will probably have a quad core apple a7 with cortex a7 based cores clocked at 1.0GHz and a PowerVR SGX545MP3 GPU.
