Improbable Range Rover Evoque convertible release

When land Rover decided to show us what a Range Rover Evoque convertible looked like, some of us were overcome with joy to see the vehicle with its roof missing, whereas others have had many sleepless nights hoping this thing never makes it to production.

I’m not going to beat around the bush here, the Evoque has never appealed to me and feel that it is the weak link from the brand. However, that’s just my opinion, but I’m sure some of you feel the same? Well, for those who share my view you may be pleased to know that the Range Rover Evoque convertible release is looking rather improbable.

From what we can make out, while a huge number of people share their enthusiasm for a drop-top Range Rover Evoque that number was not enough to persuade the coffers to bring it to production. This may come as a shock, but the early signs looked pretty good, so this is seen as a kick in the teeth for those who assumed it was a done deal.

However, Land Rover may have a compromise, as there is a possibility that instead of a Range Rover Evoque cabrio, they could release a panoramic roof that opens, instead of being fixed. What do you think of this compromise?

If you are feeling a little disappointed over this, then Car and Driver does have some good news for you; there will be no more Victoria Beckham editions, which as you are aware did come at a premium.

In other news, it’s clear to see that Land Rover is making several changes to its lineup, such as new styling, build materials and smaller powertrains to cater for an ever-changing market. We can’t wait to see what’s next, although we do know the Land Rover DC100 concept is just one idea?
