2013 Panasonic Lumix Camera lineup, multiple options

Every year at CES we know that Panasonic will do their best to dominate two markets, the first is the TV, which we will discuss in a later post, and secondly the camera, and by launching 9 new Lumix cameras they are already set for a good year. What we love about the new 2013 Panasonic Lumix Camera lineup, is the multiple options that it gives users, as there is a camera for most photographers.

It looks as though Panasonic will be doing more marketing for the Lumix ZS30, as they believe this to be the most universal camera, as it is ideal for a number of different situations. The 20x optical zoom, 18.1-megapixel and also Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity to allow you to share your photos socially, something that the Samsung GALAXY Camera seems to excel in.

However, because the model above is a hybrid you can expect the Panasonic Lumix ZS30 price to be a little on the expensive side, so maybe you might want to consider the new compact models instead?

The best of that bunch has to be the Lumix TS5, as it also comes with Wi-Fi and NFC, along with being waterproof as well. Okay the features are not going to blow your mind away, but the quality of the images along with being waterproof as well does make the TS5 a great all-rounder.

While we have no pricing and when the other 7 models, the Lumix FT25, XS1 and others will become available, one would presume it to be in the early part of 2013. More details on these new cameras, which have been on show at CES can be found in a recent press release from Panasonic.
