2013 Nexus 7 problems intermittent, fix inbound

The 2013 Nexus 7 has not been available for long, but it hasn’t taken long for owners to start complaining about a few Nexus 7 2 problems, although there is only one that seems to be cropping up time and again. Okay, we already knew about the GPS issue, but there is now a multitouch problem as well.

This latest Nexus 7 problem is an intermittent one, although we do know that a fix is inbound because Google is already aware of the issue and are currently working on it. Looking on Google Product Forums, users are having issues with pinch and zoom in certain apps, such as Maps and even down to using the keyboard.

What has confused these users is how the problem did not appear at first, but after using the Nexus 7 for a while and over time has gotten increasingly worse. A member of the team currently working on a solution recommended booting the Nexus 7 in safe mode or trying to restore to factory settings.

While it is not known if this helps or not, this is only a temporary fix until a more permanent solution is found. We currently have no idea as to when this issue will be resolved, but we are sure a Nexus 7 update is not too far away?
