2013 Ford Focus ST review gathering – lacks 3-door variant

Over the years we have seen Ford produce different models for different markets, but now Ford is embracing the one model psychology with the 2013 Ford Focus ST. The new hot-hatch has been available in the UK for almost a year, and several months less in the US.

We were promised a lot with this model, and for the most part Ford delivered. Even before the new version was released it was being compared to the Mazdaspeed3, but it is the Ford that comes out on top, although this is no real surprise.

If you are still undecided, then we hope this 2013 Ford Focus ST review gathering will help in your quest to see if this is the vehicle for you. However, before we look at these three review videos below, we can’t help wonder how much better it would be if there was a 2013 Ford Focus ST 3-door variant?

In the first review we see a member of the Fifth Gear team getting to grips with this hot-hatch, and we are impressed with the location setting, as there are plenty of twists in the road, which should help give us an idea as to the 2013 Ford Focus ST handling. It has the potential to be the best hot-hatch on the market, but can it deliver; watch the first video to see.

The second video is a different kind of review, because the owner is walking around his new vehicle and showing us what the 2013 Ford Focus ST exterior and interior features are like. Okay, it’s not as fun as the first video, but it does give you a much closer look at those finer details.

The final video review is yet another road test, and covers all the bases, such as the specs, price, and different variants. And like the first video goes over the pros and cons of this new model.

There is a choice of three 2013 Ford Focus St models, the ST-1, ST-2 and the ST-3, all of which have different specs and suspension parts. As you would imagine there are differences in the prices as well, all of which you can see on the US and UK Ford websites
