Samsung Galaxy Note 2 live stream desired

By Alan Ng - Aug 24, 2012

It is fair to say that there is a great amount of excitement surrounding Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5 reveal next month. However, would you agree with us if we said that there is less excitement than previous years, due to the arrival of the equally as impressive Galaxy Note 2 from Samsung?

In the build-up to the iPhone 4 and 4S launch afterwards, there wasn’t really any competition for Apple and the company could enjoy a global eye staring down at them as they announced their new iPhone on stage. Decent handsets such as the HTC One X and Droid RAZR Maxx that had hoped to close that gap, it has been Samsung that have come closest with handsets such as the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note.

The Galaxy Note appears to have been a surprise success for Samsung as consumers seem to love the idea of jotting away on their S-pens on a glorious 5.xx inch device, replicating that tablet experience but still retaining those crucial smartphone features when needed.

After the success of the Note, consumers are really hoping for something special with the Note 2 and judging by feedback and hype seen so far, consumers are going to be snapping up the successor in an instant, despite the arrival of the iPhone 5 across the shore.

We often see a lot of interest in live streaming of Apple’s events which are mostly unavailable, but would you be more interested in seeing a live stream to show off the Galaxy Note 2 instead? The good news is that Samsung often provide live streaming of their Mobile Unpacked events, so there’s a high chance that you’ll be able to see the Note 2 live for the very first time.

Apple on the other hand may choose to keep their keynote session private, until a few days later when it will turn up on the developers website. Let us know if you have become a Note 2 lover in recent months and if you have more interest in Samsung’s device than the iPhone 5. Will you be tuning into a live stream of both if possible, or just the one?

  • G-Note 2 is the way to go.

I had the choice between the Galaxy S3 & the Galaxy Note when I upgraded. I decided to go with the Galaxy Note & Im so damn happy I did, its the perfect device. I game on my Android devices alot, Im talking 3-4 hour sessions 3-5 times a day & the Galaxy Note is the best Android device for gaming by far. I found my 10.1″ tablet uncomfortable after awhile & my old 4″ phone too small to play effectively, obviously. The Galaxy Note is like the 3rd porage, its just right lol. I highly recommend getting it or the Galaxy Note 2 when its released. I’ll be watching the unpacked event without a doubt. iPhone, I like many smart smartphone owners dont care about & if I was to watch the iPhone 5 release it would be to be proven right that the iPhone 5 is going to be a huge letdown with their tiny increase in screen size going to be their only real change. I guarntee that Galaxy Note 2 sales go through the roof the day that the iPhone 5 is released to a very unimpressed customer base. If you get the G-Note make sure you get a great protective case like the Otter Box Defender because its very fragile & its only downfall. Im actually on my second G-Note in only 2 months after a mere 4″ drop onto a wood table that shattered the glass over the screen on the Note. -KID ANDROID (Team.Android.Canada)

Getting Note II on launch day, will be watching Samsung’s Unpacked event live. Don’t care about Apple’s event…

  • Had only the iPhone all the way in my mind, but giving your heed to the monster(Note 2) specs and rumors, it is all about the mighty “Phablet””.

I’m dying for the Samsung Galaxy note 2 to be announced I wanted to get the original but it wasn’t available on my carrier and yes I will be watching the live stream for both I’m more of a android guy so there’s no chance of me getting an iPhone because I’ll quickly get bored.

I’ve always had an iPhone, and as much as I enjoy the simple user interface its just Samsung are starting to make bigger phones with 5’3 inch displays! How can anyone say no to that, I’m currently typing this message of an iPhone 4S but in a months time I’m pretty sure I’ll be typing of my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. If Apple came out with a 5incj phone their sales would go the roof and blow Samsung out of the water.
