By now most of the FIFA 12 fans will have played the demo, discovered how difficult it is to tackle and will now be very excited for the release of the game, which is September 27th for the US and September 30th everywhere else. For those of that have been wise enough to invest in an EA Season Ticket however, they will be able to get their hands on the title much earlier.
In fact they will be able to get the game as early as tomorrow, almost a full week before release in most countries providing they own an Xbox 360. That’s right, as from 5pm Saturday; those Xbox 360 owners with EA Season Tickets will be able to download FIFA 12 before everyone else, even before those with PlayStation 3s. The tickets were originally only meant to allow users access to games three days early, but it seems to have been extended for FIFA 12.
The EA Season Ticket acts as a sort of try before you buy scheme. It costs 2100 Microsoft Points and will allow users to play full versions of various EA Sports titles before the release of the actual games. The purchase of the title only lasts a limited time, though any progress made can be carried on if the user decides to buy the actual game later when it releases. The EA Season Ticket investment also bags users a 20% discount for any future downloadable content that becomes available for an EA game.
Those that are tempted enough to invest in the EA Season Ticket, will also gain exclusive access to the EA Sports Football Club Challenge, which is new this year from EA. The exclusive content will only last until the release date of the actual game. For a step by step guide to downloading the exclusive content check out this link here.
