We have a treat for Battlefield 3 fans now, as EA has released possibly the best teaser trailer for Battlefield 3 yet. It really is a teaser too as it isn’t very long in length, but it sets the scene perfectly for just a taste of what the single-player experience is going to be like on October 25th.
This trailer also signifies the first time that you may have seen some night time action from Battlefield 3 to date, as previous videos have often shown daytime carnage either on single-player or multiplayer.
The video shows a portion of the Operation Guillotine mission and questions will immediately be raised as to which platform of the game this trailer has been taken from. It would be lovely if this is the console version of BF3, but we have a feeling it may be the optimized PC version as the game graphics and explosion physics are looking scarily good.
At the end of the video, EA also reveal that a further trailer will be coming on September 16th which will show off more gameplay from Operation Guillotine. Based on what we’ve seen here, we’re definitely in for a treat on the 16th then – we just hope the gameplay lasts a little longer than this cruel teaser.
Watch the video below for yourself and don’t forget to crank it up to 1080p HD if your system can handle it, it’s definitely worth it. You often wonder why Battlefield fans defend their game so heavily when comparing it to Call of Duty by saying it doesn’t even come close – perhaps this trailer alone is one of the prime examples that justifies such beliefs.
