Battlefield 3: Multiplayer gameplay trailer debuts at E3 2011

A few days ago we announced that Electronic Arts had revealed the released date for the highly-anticipated Battlefield 3 game during its E3 2011 press conference. However, that wasn’t the only Battlefield 3 info to come out of the event, as a multiplayer gameplay trailer also made its debut.

As noted over on the website, the brief trailer gives a glimpse of what fans can expect from the upcoming Battlefield 3 title including explosion effects, realistic movement, amazing lighting and what is probably one of the most impressive features – full environmental destructibility.

The ‘Operation Metro’ trailer shows the player’s team in ‘Rush’ mode, as they engage opponents in the streets of Paris and all the way down to the Metro subway. That wasn’t the only video to be released during the E3 event either, as the ‘Thunder Run Tank’ gameplay trailer was also unveiled.

Thunder Run, which is a single player campaign, is just as impressive as Operation Metro thanks to its amazing graphics and rendering. Judging by the footage shown in the two videos, it looks like the Battlefield 3 game could well give the likes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 a run for its money.

You can view the new trailers below this post. What do you think about the ‘Operation Metro’ and ‘Thunder Run Tank’ trailers?
