We have some rather interesting news now for those of you that live in the United States and are possibly thinking about purchasing a new Android smartphone, as we’ve just heard that the Samsung Gravity Smart handset is coming to T-Mobile USA at some point this month.

As Ilse Jurrien over on the website recently noted, the Samsung Gravity Smart handset comes with the Group Text feature, as well as a 3.2-inch touch-screen display, which features Swype for easy text input, and a horizontal, four-row, slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The Gravity Smart is great for keeping in touch with friends and family, as it includes integration with popular social networking websites and a full HTML Web that can be used for posting and viewing status updates. What may be disappointing is the fact that it runs Android 2.2 Froyo.

Other features include a 3-megapixel camera with digital zoom, LED flash and a camcorder for capturing videos, and the ability to pin important messages onto the smartphone’s home screen for quick reference. As George Wong at notes, it also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Samsung Gravity Smart is priced up at $29 or $69 (depending on what color you choose) after a $50 rebate and a 2-year agreement. Do you like the sound of the Samsung Gravity Smart phone?
