Back in April we revealed that there was indeed going to be a multiplayer beta for Naughty Dog’s much-anticipated Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception game and although we could provide our readers with a launch date for the beta, we unfortunately could not give them any more details.
That is until now anyway, as according to a recent IGN article by Greg Miller, the developer has now revealed all there is to know about the upcoming Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta. Those of you that have a PlayStation Plus subscription or the voucher from InFamous 2 can access the beta from June 28th.
If you don’t fall into either of those categories, then you can access the beta as from July 4th. The multiplayer beta ends on July 13th. There will be nine modes available in the multiplayer beta, including Team Deathmatch, High Stakes (which enables players to gamble their XP and cash) and Free-for All.
One question you are no doubt asking at this stage is what maps will be included in the multiplayer beta? According to the IGN article, there will be two maps: an airfield one and the French chateau. Both maps are said to be multi-level with plenty to climb.
