There is much speculation when the PS Store may be back with us, yesterday saw some areas affected with the PlayStation Network going down for a short period of time. Now we have an article looking at when the PlayStation Store will be back online, and reasons why it may be soon.
An article over on Go Gaming Giant is looking at why the PlayStation Store may be back even today. With the recent outages of the service for some gamers could mean that Sony is testing the PS Store during the downtime. The latest maintenance planned for this week Sony notified us about a week ago, which doesn’t normally happen.
It may just be that after the service was down for around a month they wanted to give users as much notice as possible. Normally the PS Store gets updated on a Tuesday so it would make perfect sense for the PS Store to be brought back during the maintenance. Previously we had Sony saying that they hope to have the full service resumed by the end of the month.
The much publicized Welcome Back Package will allow users to have services for one month it would be easier if these services could start on June 1st, so will be easier to know when they expire. Sony have already detailed how content will be downloaded to the Store, this will allow them catch up with the backlog which has built up during the outage.
Do think the PS Store will come back online once the planned maintenance has finished?
