By Gary Johnson - May 23, 2011

You will never have to wonder where you may have taken a certain photo thanks to a recently updated application. gps4cam 6.0.1 lets you bring geotagging to any digital camera via an iPhone app.

Once you have purchased the application all your pictures will be localized, and the app works with all camera makes. Users will not have to synchronize manually between the camera and iPhone, and the app works without needing to connect to the internet.

To use the application users have to first launch it by pressing the start a new trip button. When your trip is finished users then press the export button. This will provide the user with a 2D bar code which you then need to take a picture of. Now pictures can be uploaded to a Mac or PC by using the free gps4cam software which will automatically geotag the photos.

Other features of the application include the capability to date your photos with iPhone data, share images on sites such as Flickr, name your trip, and much more. gps4cam 6.0.1 is available worldwide on the App Store for only $2.99/£1.79. Requires iPhone with iOS 3.0 or later.
