RIM BlackBerry PlayBook recall, list of serial numbers

Research in Motion will be hoping that the BlackBerry PlayBook will put them on the map in the tablet world, however we are hearing that thing aren’t going as smoothly as planned and a recall has been announced.

Almost 1000 PlayBook which were shipped to Staples have been recalled, the exact reason for the recall is not clear, however a photo over at Engadget suggests that if you have bought one of the affected models your PlayBook may not operate.

If you bought your PlayBook from Staples you can check out the full list of affected serial numbers here, if your PlayBook’s serial number matches the list we suggest that you contact Staples regarding the matter.
