Expedia Hotels App Arrives on Android Market

Back in March we announced that Expedia.com – the internet-based travel reservation company – was releasing its Expedia Hotels application onto the Apple App Store. We’ve now heard that the popular hotel-booking app has recently arrived on the Android Market.

As Dusan over on the intomobile.com website recently noted, smartphone owners running Google’s Android operating system will now have the ability to search for both nearby hotels and hotels located all around the world, right from their mobile device using the Expedia Hotels app.

It’s not just searching for hotels that you can do with the Expedia Hotels app either, as it also provides users with access to TripAdvisor’s hotel reviews so they can see which hotels are highly rated. Each hotel page provides Android users with tons of details, including images.

The application includes some other great features including super quick hotel booking, which requires just four taps from research to purchase. The Expedia Hotels app will even provide users with directions to their chosen hotel once they have booked it.

Expedia Hotels comes with the new Android-specific landscape views, giving it the flexibility on a wide variety of Android devices. The application is available all across the globe, with support for 20 different local currencies. Are you already familiar with the Expedia.com website?
