By Jamie Pert - May 9, 2011

You may remember late last month we confirmed the Sprint Samsung Nexus S 4G release date and price, well now we can confirm that if you buy your Nexus S 4G from Best Buy you will save some money.

Currently if you buy the Nexus S 4G from Sprint it will cost you $199.99 as part of a two-year deal, however if you buy yours from Best Buy you can save yourself $50. You can buy the Nexus S 4G for $149.99 here.

Now that the Nexus S 4G is available it means that their are four 4G smartphones currently on offer, the Samsung Epic 4G and the Samsung Nexus S 4G are undoubtedly the most superior, however that said the HTC EVO 4G and HTC EVO Shift 4G are still pretty formidable.

You can find out all that you need to know about the Nexus S 4G here, also you can see a full gallery of images here and technical specifications here. To recap you get a 1GHz processor, 16GB of iNAND flash memory, Android 2.3, a 4-inch display, a 5 megapixel camera and 720p video capture, there is nothing which makes this handset truly unique, however it is well-worth considering if you are a Sprint customer who is due an upgrade.

Nothing about it thats truely unique? Are you serious? Yea that handset it self is basically a Galaxy S, but what about the fact its pure google? That it will actually get timely updates from google without the crap bloatware from samsung or htc or any of that. PURE GOOGLE IS UNIQUE. Look at the original nexus, that is running a more current android then any other phone except this nexus and its over a year old.
