Burnout Crash: New Game Includes Cartoony Graphics and UFOs

By Tina Chubb - May 9, 2011

A few weeks back we announced that the Australian Classification Board had revealed a new Burnout game called Burnout Crash. Details at that point were very limited, and all we really knew was that it would be a downloadable game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

However, it now appears that a few more details have emerged online and according to a recent article by Matt Clark over at multiplayerblog.mtv.com, the Burnout Crash game is completely different from every other Burnout game. In fact, the new game includes cartoony graphics and UFOs.

Yes, you did read that part correctly!! The aim of the Burnout Crash game is to drive your vehicle at high speed, and cause the biggest pile-ups possible. The more spectacular your crash is, the more points you’ll earn. That’s the part of the new game that sounds like your average Burnout title.

Burnout Crash – which is seen from a top-down perspective – does involve driving cartoony like vehicles such as cars, vans, buses and trucks. It also features some more unusual levels including ones where players have to crash into police cars and others with oversized planes and UFO’s.
