Test Drive Unlimited 2 (TDU2): New ‘Exploration Pack’ DLC on Way

We have some pretty exciting news for all you Test Drive Unlimited 2 (TDU2) fans out there right now, as we’ve just learned that the new ‘Exploration Pack’ is on the way. Not only does the upcoming DLC bring some great new content, but it also brings a number of improvements and fixes.

According to a recent article by Joseph Peterson over at playstationlifestyle.net, the upcoming DLC pack will provide users with 20 new events, 2 new event types, 20 brand new wrecks that give 2 new cars, 2 new discovery levels, 3D on both the PC and PlayStation 3 and 2 new multiplayer races.

As mentioned above, the update brings a number of gameplay improvements to the Test Drive Unlimited 2 game. For example, players will now be able to sell their cars in the used car dealer including cars won in duels, and the effects of collisions with trees and rocks should now be less severe.

The instant challenges have also received a tweaking, and now excludes very long or very short races. Gamers should also find that the session lost message is more descriptive. The upcoming update will also enable players to cancel on the search games loading screen.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 players have been reporting a number of issue since the game first launched back in February, and the new update addresses many of the said issues including the issue where cars were sometimes turning invisible. Collision problems have also been fixed.
