Ever since the rumors began circulating at the end of April as to the possible title of the next Assassin’s Creed game, fans of the franchise have been left wanting more information. Well now it looks like they are in luck, as Ubisoft has now revealed the first details and screenshot.
According to Tom Hopkins over at nowgamer.com, the upcoming game – which as expected will be titled Assassin’s Creed Revelations – has been described as the final chapter in the Ezio trilogy. It’s due to arrive sometime in November, and will be available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations will see Ezio walking in the footsteps of his mentor Altair, as he embarks on a journey of discovery and revelation. The game will be set in Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire where an army of Templars are threatening to cause chaos.
The Assassin’s Creed Revelations game will see the return of multiplayer, but with brand new maps, modes and characters. Alexandre Amancio – Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal – said that the game includes lots of new features, as well as some significant surprises.
